The good news: One is in PRISTINE condition. The bad news: The other one is not. The pristine one: "CARNIVAL COCKTAILS: CREATIVE CONCONCTIONS FROM CARNIVAL" 100-plus recipes for signature, cruise-line cocktails featuring vodka, rum, brandy, liqueurs, schnapps, gin, tequila & more Non-alcoholic drinks included, too 1997 Paperback booklet with stapled binding 40 Pages 8.25 Inches by 4.75 Inches Keep the vacation vibe going when you get home! This booklet is a fun guide to exotic, boozy sips featured on the legendary cruise ships. Among a few of the stand-out cocktail recipes: Pina Colada Brandy Alexander Finlandia Blue Moon with Curacao Russian Bear with Creme de Cacao Mango Margarita Mud Slide with Kahlua Singapore Sling Bloody Mary Apricot Sour And for the far-from-pristine book: "THE BUFFET OF CARNIVAL: ENTERTAINING SECRETS FROM CARNIVAL CHEFS" 1998 Hardback 86 Pages 8 Inches by 8 Inches This book has suffered water damage that shows on the slightly "bubbled" front and back covers, and on pages throughout with warping and tearing that makes pages not lay flat and SOME entries illegible. On the upside, some recipes, entries and text are mar-free and readable. This book aimed to share with readers behind-the scenes photos and flourish of chef-crafted cuisine, complete with ice sculptures, lavish buffets, decadent dishes and food carvings -- Carnival's claim to fame. This poor, lil' waterlogged fella is still intact with its hardcover and binding. The pages, however, are hit-and-miss with damage, but some recipes, food sculpting tips, etc. still can be read. This hardcover cook book offers such content as: "Food Sculptures: Secrets of fantastic presentation that transform Carnival's gourmet foods into a feast for both the eyes and palate." "Recipes for Entertaining: Carnival chefs show you the secrets of a table that will impress and delight your guests."
