OUR DESCRIPTION CAPTIVATING and SPOOKY Mid-West (Attributed) BLACK CAT Frit Art Glass Paperweight. I do see a few tiny light scratches on the dome area but, they are hard to see. The shape of this weights dome also helps determine it might be a Midwest Maker from the early 1900's. I see many gather lines inside and a bit of marveling (slight flat rippling area) on the dome which also tells us this is an old weight. I also see several controlled bubbles here and there of various sizes. This older paperweight could have possibly been made by one of several different American Mid-West paperweight makers. This Lovely work of art glass would make a fantastic gift idea and it's just in time for Halloween . This is a Magnum size paperweight and measures approximately 3-1/8" in diameter and 2" high. It is not signed. It has a clear concave bottom that shows some shelf ware to the basal rim (which helps us determine this is an older weight) and the pontil mark is rough to the touch. I consider this Wonderful Paperweight to be in Very Good Original Vintage Condition. Please check pictures for further description.
