Antique Clear Glass Tomato Paperweight Manganese Glow Rare This is a very Rare and Interesting Antique Glass Tomato Paperweight. We obtained it from an estate and we were told it is an antique. Although I cannot confirm the year it was made, the paperweight does have a Manganese glow and this indicates that it may be antique and made before 1915. Some of my pictures show this glow. (This is not Uranium Glass. It will not glow under a 395-wavelength black light.) The paperweight measures approximately 3.5” tall and 5” wide. It is in Excellent Condition – no chips, cracks or scratches. However, this is a very small black mark on the bottom of the paperweight that appears to be in the glass and part of the manufacturing process. This is a very unique and unusual paperweight.
