Description

This is a beautiful and larger size (almost 4" in diameter) paper weight with a sommerso controlled bubble and cranberry colored glass center. It is beautifully done! I don't have a date or a maker with this studio piece, but the base is beautifully polished and it does have some shelf wear to lead me to believe this is vintage. It is in overall really good condition! The shelf wear is really just the tiny scratches from moving it along a table. On the bottom, you will find a few open bubbles from the sommerso process that when ground down, come through. Please see pictures for further description. I have taken photos in both room light and flash for you to see this in a bright light versus average light. Approximate measurements: 3¾"H x 3⅞"Diam 3 lb 4 oz Note: Used condition. Please examine all of the pictures closely, as they are part of the description. When buying pre-owned or vintage items, please expect some aging, wear and minor imperfections. All items are sold as-is. Shipping: Cost varies based on weight and location. I do my very best to package items with extra care and I do sometimes use recycled shipping when appropriate. Items are shipped within 1 business day of receiving payment. I determine the best means of shipment to your location and that is usually through USPS Ground Advantage or Priority Mail. This will be noted in the shipping description on the item page. Returns: All returns must be postmarked no later than 30 days after receiving the item. I will take the item as a return but the buyer must pay shipping. It must also be returned in the same condition it was received. About me: I graduated with a Bachelor's in Interior Design in '97. I worked in the field for 20 years successfully until having twins with medical issues. This necessitated my transition to a different kind of work and staying home with them. Recently, I have reignited my passion for design with my (mostly) vintage and antiques eBay business. I'm very small but I get to handle all aspects and make sure my customers are happy. I find it very fulfilling to find hidden treasures for others to enjoy! In a strange way, it keeps me in touch with my design roots and helps make a little money to participate in paying bills for my family. Thank you so much for looking and for your purchase, I really appreciate you!
