Welcome to Sea Green Mermaid! For sale is a carved Australian boulder opal cuff bracelet. I have never seen anything like this piece before. This massive opal was mined in the Koroit opal fields in Australia. Carved from a single, huge opal, the cuff is graduated in shape, narrowing towards the back. The opal has chocolate brown matrix that is embedded with opalescent veins. The opal flashes with flames of cherry red and tangerine fire. You will also see cool shades of green and blue and purple fire. The artist has carved the opal into rectangular sections that look like blocks or bricks. Each block flashes with vibrant color and fire. The opal is securely set in a sterling silver frame. The opal is entirely backed in silver. This stunning bracelet will fit a wrist up to 7". (My wrist in the photo and video is exactly 7 inches.).
