Description

This listing is for an Old Vintage End-of-Day Art Glass Very Large 4 9/16" T x 4 3/4" W Magnum Sized Paperweight. I believe it is Bohemian / Czech. It features a photograph portrait encased inside of a woman standing next to a seated man. Underneath is a harlequin floral decoration made of colorful mottled fruit. Stylized flowers and bubbles. Hand blown with factory rough ground flat base. The glass is more of a transparent smokey gray than clear. It is old and made with uranium and glows a brilliant green under a blacklight (photos 7 and 8). I am not an expert on Bohemian weights and do not know the exact maker or age. *Be sure to check out my other antique paperweights listed separately. It is in very good condition overall. There are some flake chips and scratches to the exterior (photos 20-24), are the worst. No other notable issues. Otherwise clean and shiny. Please view photos carefully as they are my main description. *(White spots in pictures are glare / lighting from photos and not actually on the item). It is extremely big, heavy, and fragile weighing 5 lbs before packing and will be securely packaged and double boxed. It measures 4 3/4" across, 4 9/16" tall, and 2" at the base. Please feel free to Email with any questions and be sure to check out my other MCM, glassware, pottery, and antique items. Thanks!
