Description

Here is this amazing vintage custom made solid 14 K yellow gold ladies bracelet with 6 oval shaped fire opals that all have a bluish color play and 5 clusters of London blue Topaz gemstones. Carefully examined under magnification the bracelet is a work of art and the opals have survived the test of time quite well however one has a tiny crazing near one of the prongs and another one has a tiny chip on the very underside of the opal and I have photographed both of these. There are 5 round clusters of blue Topaz gemstones all about 1.5 mm each , 35 in all and they are separated by links of Opal that all have a bluish color play and look so beautiful next to the blue Topaz. There are 41 Gemstones in all opals & Topaz gemstones combined. The opals are all around 8 mm x 6 mm give or take a little . All of the opals are without scratches or abrasions in each in a sturdy 4 prong setting and I have photographed the 2 that have little tiny issues not very noteworthy as this is a vintage bracelet and these opals have for survived the test of time so very well . This bracelet weighs 14.9 grams and closes at 7.25 inches with a good sturdy box clasp and has a fold-over clasp and a safety chain so it actually has 3 mechanisms to protect it. Each of the blue Topaz floral clusters are 9 mm round in diameter and the top portion with all of the gemstones measures 3 1/2 inches across and is attached to a very sturdy Chevron link band that is very attractive . It has no markings and has been professionally tested here as solid 14 K yellow gold and it looks to be a custom-designed piece probably made by a magnificent jeweler for somebody they loved. Please study the photos it may be one-of-a-kind and it is so very beautiful with tiny bit of wear to the opals and otherwise in excellent vintage condition . ...
