OUR DESCRIPTION A Gorgeous and Unusual CHINESE Orange & Yellow BUTTERFLY floating over a Millefiori Scramble Art Glass Paperweight. I do see some tiny debris inside and this was typical of the older Chinese paperweights back in the early 1930 or 1940's. What is unusual about this one is they mixed one of their copy scramble with a lampworks Butterfly. Typically they did one or the other and not both together. Classic Chinese millefiori canes in many colors are formed into a Close-packed millefiori scramble or end of day in this Older Chinese paperweight. The paperweight is 2-1/2" in diameter and 2" tall. I consider it in very good original vintage condition. It has a clear flat bottom that does show some ware which is expected with the age and it is also scratch signed CHINA on the bottom. It is not signed; however, attribution is positive. Other than some light wear to the bottom (the weight is probably over 40 years old) I consider this Lovely Paperweight to be in Very Good Original Vintage Condition.
