Shipping is $4 then additional items ship FREE (except doll furniture) Vintage SCARAB CUFF BRACELET Gold Tone Metal GENUINE STONE BLUE OPAL or CHALCEDONY? This is a cuff made from a vintage scarab that I set in a vintage cuff / setting. This is carved from genuine stone, the best I can tell it is "blue opal" or chalcedony but I am not sure. Because this is a natural stone, each scarab is unique and the second picture shows how these can differ. Size : Scarab is 10x8 mm Cuff is adjustable by stretching and enlarging the gap between cuff ends, interior of cuff is 5 inches long with a 1 inch gap, -- see last 2 pictures Condition : Handmade using NOS vintage materials. NOS is an abbreviation for “ New Old Stock ” which describe leftover inventory from an old store. Not reproductions. These materials are old inventory from costume jewelry companies in the 50's that have gone out of business. These were never sold at retail so they are “new” (meaning unused) but “old” because of their age. About my work: The scarabs are from a wholesaler in Rhode Island who sell the inventories of costume jewelry makers from the 50's. The setting is from a big jewelry findings (parts) retailer who is selling out their inventory. I bought out all the settings that they have so once I use them up, there is nothing left.
